Boyfriend

So we were going steady for a while, and now, it's sucking bad. I don't even know what to do anymore. I was asking a friend for advice, and I told her that I don't like my boyfriend. I actually had my doubts when I first got with him, and I knew the relationship wasn't going to last, but I was happy to have a bf all the same. Later, I took my friend's advice of breaking up if you aren't completely happy. That night, I told him that our relationship is not going anywhere. He took it as breakup, and we haven't talked since. I feel more and more empty.
