true. they allow themselves to be the most vulnerable by asserting their emotions. Shy people keep a straight face all the time. Take it from someone with experience. Though this is a general wave thing. Some people hold back when having fun. They seem to "laugh the loudest", but they don't "cry the hardest", because they hold themselves back. They scout out potentially bad situations and hold back during those. Similarly, some "cry the hardest" but they don't "laugh the loudest". They usually don't give themselves the looseness to laugh, but when they reach something euphoric, they let themselves go, to give themselves the hardest cry ever. Their way of "laughing" is not valued by loudness, but by the amount of emotion put in. It's silent. It's deadly. Though the feelings hurt just as horribly.
