Fanfic

I didn't mean to start reading again. It's just a fic a friend wrote, and one of the tabs I had open. I actually had forgotten about it for a while, since I had a lot of tabs open. But then, I read the first 2 chapters of the 25 chapter sequence, and I realize that I miss the familiar apprehension and expectancy from fanfics. I miss the way everything can surprisingly be blended so well. How every pairing gets together, and how all the characters are connected in ways thought impossible. All the angst, the tears, and the super happy way things all turn out in the end. The way I read faster and faster, seeing the end of the chapter in record time. Neck bent, and tired, though not noticing, because in another world. And seeing the familiar names, the personalities that I know so well. Seeing how they react, and the giant bubble of a question. And finally, the giant smile from the ending well concluded. Excitement, surprise, then ending. Long fics and short ones. I remember reading ones with thousands and tens of thousands of words. Such an accomplished ending for a long night of reading. This one might not be as long, but some short oneshots are super sweet. Those 15 min contests have grown on me. Gah. <333 fanfiction. I thought I stopped a while back, but I guess not. Plus, for some reason, I still remember all my account stuffs, so I guess I do have access to all my old fanfic. My inbox is bursting with my fav unfinished ones xD time to go catch up!
